I was going to post a picture of my big pink bar but unfortunatly the picture posting site still has problems...

Nowty, just checking an example here:

If I disconnected the car at 1435, drove a bit, got back at 1515, plugged back in and got a new schedule starting immediately (at 1515)...the 1430-1500 and 1500-1530 would still be cheap rate, correct?

Correct!

I often wait until 2min past the hour to pop tp Tesco. If I get back at 58mins past the same hour and plug in I get continuous cheap slots.

Some people game the system by plugging in at 58-past, unplugging at 2 min past then doing the same an hour later...
