Down at Aberdeen harbour. 5 of 11 in view were not turning. There might be a 12th concealed behind the maintenance jack ups crane. Nice to watch those that were on

We were woken up at midnight by the weather front, almost 5 hours before the worst winds were due to start. I think the angle was just right to allow some of the panels to vibrate and transmit the vibration into the roof beam - stayed doing that till about 4 am. We sat in bed waiting for the worst but even though the wind has increased by twenty mph it’s also swung around more to the SW so the vibration has stopped. A look this morning showed no obvious damage or lose clamps. At 2am the blades at KH were at 16 degrees and average wind was 44mph at 8 am average wind was 55mph and blades were at 28 degrees but still kicking out the power.

Hope everyone is still safe and largely unscathed so far - watching news this morning it looks horrible in some regions.

We have been very fortunate. Awake through the night listening to rain battering down. Winds about 28mph now so a typical blowy day really. ASHP is running at 5.4 this morning. Glad to hear the turbines stayed running. :xl:
