I'm OK with that!
When we fitted bi-folds to the back of our lounge, I also took the opportunity to fit matching french doors to the kitchen. The wife insisted on internal blinds in the kitchen doors, she wasn't bothered about the much bigger bi-folds, very strange.

Anyway, the kitchen blinds haven't been shut for years now, I've no real idea why she insisted on them.

We are overlooked, but it's not ever bothered me, and weirdly the wife was only worried about the kitchen, although it's some years ago now, it may have been the cost for doing all of them that put her off doing the lot, glad we didn't.

This is good to know. We are up at 1am and have had a wee breakthrough. We can buy 4 motorised roller blinds for £844. The original local company can make manual bottom up blinds in the width We need for the trapezoidals.

We'll see them tomorrow for a quote on the two traps and also the other 4 in motorised roller. That should bring the whole room in for a couple of grand and we can maybe not have a blind on the side door. I can live with that!

I am amazed at the complexity of this. What a PITA!

There are a huge amount of diy automation options out there for blinds. I had no idea.
15kW PV SE, VI, HM, EN
42kWh LFPO4 storage
7kW ASHP
200ltr HWT.
73kWh HI5
Deep insulation, air leak ct'd home
WBSx2
Low energy bulbs
Veg patches & fruit trees
