Interesting that they chose someone who does not have access to off-street parking or workplace charging.

It made me laugh that the journo considered her / themselves in 2022 electric vehicle "pioneers" ..that was anyone with a first gen leaf / early mitsubishi surely, between maybe 2011-2016, followed then by "low mass" early adopters through to 2020 when EV became "commonplace" (i'm talking UK & our french meanderings for reference)

But yeah, ok piece overall & without the usual obscurantism that comes with "my time living with an EV" from journalists generally.

I dont know how anybody can have a charging problem these days. There are more places to charge than petrol gargages before even considering destination chargeing and domestic sockets. It would take me more effort to get stranded in my EV than find a charge!

There are 8K petrol stations and 30K chargers (or 23K x 7kw and above.) and there are 5K rapid chargers. When will this nonsense reporting stop.

Well said Ken, a few years ago yeah, maybe, ...for the uninitiated, but now the "electric highway" has lost its monopoly chargers of all sizes are everywhere, a few years ago I could not have imagined the likes of Shell garages beyond londinium having fast-ish chargers, now i'm more likely to complain about price rather than choice
