Head back after 23:30 to see some amperage action.

A 10p discount for the 1.5kWh of FIT so that's £3.20 to run and pretty much heat the house and SWMBO is also pretty much caning the EV pack every day going out and about. I can live with that cost over the Winter months! :D

Went past the supermarket fuel station the other day and it was £1.455 per ltr for petrol. £6.62 per gallon..

Okay we have the WS running and every now and then the GCH will fire up downstairs at 06.30 (once in ten days). You get the point though, by living the lifestyle and even being geographically challenged for PV at this time of year (buildings & trees) we can still perform. March to Oct its a no brainer but these bad old Winter months is where I enjoy the challenge! 8-)
Yep its a good old comparison, a month in Summer vs a month in Winter, just check the right hand scale, but the Smart Meter does give it away that we were not at home over Xmas.

Joe,
I would be very interested to hear what test certificates and paperwork etc you get given by the installer (who is probably a subcontractor of the company that Octopus have out sourced the installation to).

When mine was installed, I got nothing and Octopus have not got back to me when I queried this.

John
John, Paperwork that came with the charger was Easee One company install instructions, also received an Electrical test cert and an invoiced receipt from the installer. Both of which are need to complete the EST £250 grant. Not that much TBH but im not sure it has to be?

Cheers!

Cleevley have stopped fitting Leaf pack upgrades or boot mounted battery extenders. That's a wee bit 😔.

How much with the EV discount did it work out to? (nosey)

SO your saying that I can squeek more pips from my leaf? for how much?
I paid 225 euro last year for the leafbox. Sold it yesterday for £105. It works well. After grant's we were £880 for the installation including a standalone breaker. I gave it a test run and it was pretty cool to see it ramp up to serious loads with the led strip pulsing away.
Joe, I'd have had that off you, cannot find anything on ebay, can you home in on my word serach to sniff one out?
cheers

Gus,

https://evtun.com/leafbox.html

Best we had on the gom was 98 miles. Cars going to webuyany next Thursday. Rather sad tbh.

Also £880 for the Easee one install is wrong as I didn't take off the £250 est grant. So total cost for ev chargepoint installers is £630. It is great being able to charge at 7.4kW.

At Nowty Towers, the grid voltage is at the top end around 250v so the Tesla App usually shows 8kW at 32A.

Nice! Has your range met your expectations Nowty?

I am looking forward to seeing how the beastie performs. Looks like I'll pick it up on the morning of 9th Feb, come back to Aberdeen then head back down to Catterick on the 10th with swmbo for nephews Para passing out on 11th. :)
