I doubt it will close on the 3rd May as ripple are at the fully charged event 29th Apr to 1st May, so I reckon they will use the excuse of feedback from the event to keep it open another month, etc, etc.

Even after funding was secured for WT1 via a variable loan facility, the offer still stayed open for several more months until a co-investor stepped in and even then it stayed open for a few more weeks.

PS - WT1 currently at 90% of max power.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

I hope you are right, more in means less interest to banks and following closer to the original ethos. I had a splendid 26kWh out of WT1 yesterday, plus the 36kWh at home. Fintray has reset my goals. Hoping for a single day 100kWh daily take once Kirkhill is up and running.

(takes me back about 10 years when I was a lurker in what I realise now is referred to as "the old place" but let's not go there!)

So just signed up to 1000W at Kirk Hill to complement the 3.95kWp of PV we had installed in 2013 but was wondering how Ripple link to my Octopus Energy account - is it purely by address or do they cross reference to the MPAN at some point in the future when it's all going? I can't see anything related in my Ripple account that seems to tie the two together?

Thanks!
I think its just your name and address.

We never told Octopus anything, only dealt with ripple, but today as if by magic cash arrives in our Octopus energy accounts from WT1.

PS - Your the 18th member from here on my secret WT2 list.
But there will be others !
Welcome onboard Umski, on a tremendous day too. I have a vague memory of giving Ripple my account No at Octopus? Its vague though so not to be relied upon.
Thanks chaps, I'll sit and wait for the moment then, maybe they do some admin in the background to tie the two up - hopefully someone else won't get the payments as and when they start :o

Looks like no curtailment from DNO as yesterday was by far the best day i've seen at a mighty 51.29kWh generated. Previous PB at Graig Fatha end of March was 41kW. :)
Also managed 36kWh at home. Without a doubt, a brand new RE PB of 87.29kWh for a single day.

Combined PB for me too 8-) , I was thinking I might hit the magic 100 kWh, but it was quite cloudy in the afternoon so 59 kWh on WT1 and 33 kWh on the solar makes a total of 92 kWh.

But today, the sun is looking better here so the magic 100+ kWh could be broken today.

I hope you get there today we are away for a few weeks so sadly won't.be able to exploit the full potential of May. I'll do the sums when I get back as there's a miniscule chance that we could go over-the-counter 100kWh mark without Kirkhill input! Some reality eh? :)

Currently a combined PB of 101 kWh (solar 51 kWh and WT1 50 kWh). :D
Solar still generating 1kW and my share of WT1 is still churning out over 2kW with another 5 hours to go.
Likely to be a combined 110 kWh or thereabouts by midnight.

With Kirkhill (WT2) a combined 160+ kWh will be possible. :?

That is brilliant 👏! Nice one. We had a slow start today so no record. 30+kWh though at home and 50+ from GF, a happy day!
